A young woman determined to open her own way
Camila’s childhood was not easy, but it was full of effort and affection. He learned to be independent very early. He helped at home, studied with discipline and sought every possible scholarship so as not to carry his mother with more expenses.
Marta was her greatest example.
At the age of 21, Camila decided to undertake. He founded a small startup called Roíz Creativa, a platform designed so that young artisans from different villages could sell their products, find customers and get small investors.
Their goal was simple: to create the opportunities she had missed.
In just over a year, the company was moving faster than Camila had imagined.
And yet, in some corner of her mind there was still a silent question: would your father ever know what she had accomplished?
The visit no one expected
That Saturday, while Camila worked from home, she heard her mother’s voice from the entrance.
“Camila… there’s someone here who wants to see you.
As he approached the door, time seemed to stop. I had only seen him in an old photograph, but his face was unmistakable. It Was Ernesto Vidal.
After a few seconds of an awkward silence, Ernesto pulled an envelope of kraft paper from his briefcase
and handed it to him with a smile.
“It’s a surprise,” he said.
There were several documents inside. The first was a DNA test confirming that he was Camila’s biological father. She already knew: she had never doubted that.
The second document was different. It was an agreement drafted by a lawyer.
Ernesto claimed that, as a biological father, he was entitled to receive financial compensation now that his daughter had achieved success. He did not formally ask for a part of the company, but a significant sum of money.
